Columbus, Ohio (September 11, 2015) – Scioto Downs Racino will host Ohio Super Night on Saturday,
September 12, 2015 which will be the richest night in Ohio harness racing history with well over $2 million in
purses. Kicking off the event is the Horse vs. Human Race where Harry “Butch” Reynolds will race, on foot,
against a harness horse driven by Scioto Downs’ lead trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. Butch, Virgil and the
Standardbred named Dress The Part, will match up just before the first race post time, approximately 6pm.

While best known for his Olympic track and field performance in the 1988, 1992 and 1996 games, Butch was
also proclaimed the “Fastest Man in the World” when he set a world record of 43.29 seconds in the 400 meter
race in 1988. Butch, a native of Akron, Ohio, went on to become an Assistant Track Coach for The Ohio State
University from 1996 – 1998 and in 2005 – 2008 he was the first Speed Coach for Division I Football when he
was an Assistant Coach for the Buckeyes.

In 1995, Butch started the Butch Reynolds “Care For Kids Foundation (BRCFK)” as a way of giving back to his
community. BRCFK supports the importance of education in Ohio’s athletes and is a youth not for profit
organization. His upcoming race on Ohio Super Night is a fundraiser for this foundation. Patrons are asked to
purchase 50/50 raffle tickets starting at 5:30pm in front of the Winner’s Circle. The drawing will take place
after the completion of Race 6. Proceeds will be donated to BRCKF which works with over 500 children and
employs over ten contractors per year.

Ohio Super Night’s first race post time is at 6:30pm. Track events, dinner reservations and promotions will
begin around 5pm. Patrons are asked to please make Patio & Clubhouse reservations in advanced. The richest
night in Ohio racing history with over $2 million in purses will include the Jim Ewart Memorial with a $200,000
purse, the Sam “Chip” Noble III Memorial Trot with a $100,000 purse and eight Ohio Sires Stakes Final races
each with a $225,000 purse. Saturday, September 12 will also mark the end of the 2015 live harness race
season for Scioto Downs. Their 57th season will begin in May 2016.
